Next meeting Tuesday 8 August, 7.30 pm at Stoddart Cottage – dress warmly. “Stoddart Cottage from artist’s home to home for artists”. Stoddart Cottage has always housed artistic endeavours.
Most of us know something of the current wonderful art exhibitions and craft shop, and most know something of the Stoddart women artists who lived there in the 19th century.
But what of the years in between? How did the Cottage become the vibrant exhibition space it is today. Join us for some cheese, a glass of wine and listen to Paula Smith and Euan Godfrey as they entertain and educate and help us see the history in between the “then” and “now”.
