The next meeting is on Tuesday October 8 at 7.30pm in the Green Room when Diamond Harbourite Evelyn Keeley will discuss her recent publication, With Grace: Her story and place in Campbell history 1642-1856, a story that links Scotland, Jamaica, London, Wales, Canada, and New Zealand. In 1818 Grace Campbell was a published author and member of the literary Blackwood group. Resourceful and resilient Scottish women are revealed, alongside adventurous and entrepreneurial men, whose lives were intertwined with significant periods in history.
