The Mount Herbert Friendship Club is a group of active retirees, mixed men and women who meet monthly at the Charteris Bay Golf Club at 10am for 2 hours to share friendship and fellowship and learn something interesting and useful.

We have more than 70 members and average about 40 at our meetings.

On 4 October our mini-speaker (one of our members) will be John Richardson and our main speaker will be John Scott, previously head of ARA – an educationalist, sculptor with interesting experiences in the Middle East who will be talking on “Living though an Arab Spring”.

Our 1 November mini-speaker will be Tom Kuenning and main speaker Alex Hichmough who will speak about her Red Cross and World Vision experiences

6 December is our Club Christmas Dinner at the Rossendale Function Centre.

We are always open to visitors and new members. If you would like to know more phone secretary Kevin Mackay on  021 250 8908 or just come along to experience a meeting with us.
